Raiffeisen BANK and EBRD signed a new cooperation agreement

 

• The credit line agreement for more favorable financing of the R/E purchase against mortgage

 

(Sarajevo, 30/08/2018) “Buying home for the first time is one of the most-important things in any person’s life. The financing conditions are an important factor if this purchase is made from the loan proceeds. Since we are trying to adapt our offer to the needs and expectations of our customers, I am very happy to announce that we are continuing cooperation with EBRD, that will enable us to offer good-quality solutions for mortgage loans to our customers“, said Karlheinz Dobnigg, Chairman of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank.

Raiffeisen Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed the Credit Line Agreement for Financing Residential Property against Mortgage. The loan amounting to EUR 10 million supports activities of Raiffeisen Bank and ensures more favourable conditions for residential property of private individuals. 

“The sign-off of the agreement with Raiffeisen Bank will enable us to ensure a long-standing financing that will support growth in portfolio of residential mortgage loans to our confidential partner. Our credit line is at the same time a confirmation of Raiffeisen’s business strategy to, in our joint interest, extend its engagement in this sector. We expect the households in Bosnia and Herzegovina will benefit from better availability of mortgage loans. This will also have positive impact on the local construction industry reflecting to the wider economy“, said Ian Brown, Head of the EBRD Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
