- Raiffeisen Bank continues to support the work of the “Heart for Children with Cancer FBiH”, “SUMERO” and “SOS Children's Village BiH - Sarajevo”

(Sarajevo, 26/02/2018) – “I am very happy to say that in 2018 we will continue to grant funds to charity for every transaction effected via Mastercard Shopping Card bearing the mark of MC World. I am honoured to say that we have granted a total of KM 3,000 through these activities in the past year and thus supported the associations whose work we have been supporting for several years“, said Karlheinz Dobnigg, Chairman of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank, and added that he truly believes that the amount for these purposes will be even higher this year.

Funds were granted to the associations “Heart for Children with Cancer FBiH”, “Sumero” and “SOS Children’s Village BiH” and we will continue to support them throughout 2018.

Whenever a customer makes a POS transaction using the Raiffeisen MasterCard Shopping Card marked MC World, the Bank allocates KM 0.10 for charity. By using MasterCard Shopping Card marked MC World for payment of their transactions, our customers indirectly support the work of these three associations.

Being committed to its sustainability strategy, Raiffeisen Bank strives to give a contribution to the community in which it operates in addition to its financial success. The focus of the corporate responsibility strategy of the Bank is support to associations focusing on children and persons with special needs. In 2017, 95 projects were supported.
